Grayslake Central to honor vets:

Grayslake Central High School's Key Club and Public Service Practicum will host a ceremony and a complimentary breakfast for veterans in the community. The Veterans Day Ceremony and Breakfast is at Grayslake Central High School, 400 N. Lake St., Grayslake, and begins at 7:40 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 11. Please RSVP by Friday, Nov. 7, by calling (847) 986-3334. About 50 veterans are expected to attend. The day will include an all-school assembly to honor local veterans and feature keynote speaker Sgt. Allan Lynch, a Vietnam veteran and Medal of Honor recipient.
