Dining events: Q's Kitchen takes over Feast for a night

Q's Kitchen's takeover

Q's Kitchen, a personal chef and family assistant service, takes over Moveable Feast, a cafe and catering company in Geneva, for one evening. Beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, Q's Kitchen will serve a six-course meal, starting off with medjool dates with chorizo and bacon and moving onto seared yellowfin, freekah, shaved lamb, sockeye and finishing with a sweet treat. $75 includes one cocktail and a bottle of wine per couple. What's new at Walker's

Walker's Charhouse in Naperville has changed ownership and welcomed a new chef. The classic steakhouse offers many of its traditional entrees, priced $11 to $39, including the sweet-but-tangy ribs and other standard meat cuts, as well as the chicken Marsala topped with wild mushrooms; pretzel-crusted pork chops with dark ale mustard sauce; balsamic-glazed chicken caprese with tomato pesto cream sauce; bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with pomegranate reduction; and garlicky chicken penne in white wine cream sauce.
