Closing schools for a month is absurd

The Waukegan City Administration and the PTA seems to have a dim view of the educational system. Walking the picket line is one thing, but keeping schools closed for a month is ridiculous.

Hinsdale school district was set to strike, but officials on both sides came to an amicable agreement.

If I was a parent of a Waukegan student, I would have serious doubts of staying in that city, especially since education seems to be far from the administration's list of priorities.
