Schneider has record of bipartisan success

Newspaper endorsements including Daily Herald and distorted TV ads in the 10th Congressional District have given distorted reasons for not supporting Congressman Brad Schneider which do not hold up when one looks at the real facts.

It has wrongly been alleged that Brad has not sought to forge across-the-aisle relationships and that Brad does not have a keen focus on encouraging private-sector job development.

Brad along with Republican congressmen introduced the bipartisan American Manufacturing Efficiency and Retraining Investment Act to build a skilled American workforce, supported the December 2013 bipartisan budget deal, co-sponsored bipartisan HR 523 to repeal the tax on sale of medical devices to help fix but not repeal the Affordable Care Act.

In June 2013, Brad joined the No Labels problem solvers group of more than 70 Democrats, Republicans and Independents that meet regularly to build trust and find mutual areas of interest.

Brad has been a leader of the New Democratic Coalition which has been working to grow our economy and create new American jobs.

Schneider has shown by his actions that he is committed to working to end the partisan gridlock and work collaboratively for our district and the nation.

He has demonstrated a zeal to work with the other side of the aisle for reasonable solutions, but he remains steadfast in support of the values reflected in our district. That is why when comparing their records on gun control, women's issues, the environment, LGBT issues and marriage equality, choice, Israel and separation of religion and state, Brad has received the endorsements of countless advocacy groups.

We need to re-elect Brad Schneider as our congressman to fight for us and our values and to work with both sides of the aisle to end gridlock in Washington. We cannot afford to lose him.
