Giving DuPage offers nonprofit training
Giving DuPage is hosting a nonprofit training workshop, "Purposeful Boards and Powerful Fundraising," focusing on nonprofit governance, board structure and the role of a nonprofit board.
Attendees at the full-day workshop will learn the latest trends, best practices and legal insights and how to develop strategies to build and retain the best board.
Industry consultant Chuck Loring will present the workshop, having earned rave reviews at previous seminars.
"Chuck draws you in and does an amazing job keeping everyone's attention throughout the day," said Connie Bailey, Giving DuPage board president. "The most popular topic Chuck teaches about is how to create a board fearless in fundraising, identifying the keys to fundraising success."
The workshop is Friday, Nov. 7, at Bobak's Signature Events, 6440 Double Eagle Drive, Woodridge. More than 150 local nonprofit organizations are registered and the event is expected to sell out.
