Bulls vs. New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, 7 p.m.

Outlook: Phil Jackson is on board as team president, longtime NBA point guard Derek Fisher is the head coach, and Carmelo Anthony decided to stay put as a free agent. But the Knicks have tepid expectations this season. The only major change is PG Jose Calderon arriving in a trade from Dallas for Tyson Chandler. The Bulls lost twice at MSG last season.
