Why we don't need an Ebola czar
On Oct. 16, I watched the House committee panel on the government's response to the Ebola crisis. Most of the questions were directed to the CDC Director Dr. Frieden, who explained his opposition to a travel ban for people returning from the countries in Africa where the current outbreak began.
The reason the doctor gave for not instituting a travel ban made no sense. He said that without a ban it would be easier to track and treat the disease. He reminds me of a mad scientist who doesn't want to destroy a destructive alien life form because he wants to study it.
This soulless doctor was appointed to his position by Obama. It easy to understand why Obama likes him. Obama doesn't care about human life - he favors abortion (even late-term abortions), death panels of Obamacare, and presides over atrocious care provided for veterans.
Obama seems to want to turn this country into a Third World nation. He is sending 3,900 troops to the hot zone, and is now calling up the National Guard to speed up the process.
We don't need an Ebola Czar. We need a ban on travelers/flights from countries with an Ebola outbreak until this disease is under control.
