Lake Zurich fundraiser on Halloween

The Lake Zurich Rotary presents its "Celebrity Halloween Bash" on Friday, Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight. "Celebrities" will take over J&D's Bar and Grill, 26400 N. Rand Road, Wauconda, to support the Lake Zurich Food Pantry and Lake Zurich High School scholarships. It is a red-carpen Lake Zurich Rotary event. Prizes will be given for the best celebrity costume or just dress for the red carpet. Partygoers will enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet and $3 drinks. Costume Contest Awards: Best couple costume, $300 plus Oscar award; 2nd prize, $200 plus Oscar Award; 1st prize, $100 plus Oscar Award.
