Cell Phones for Soldiers:

State Rep. Ed Sullivan is teaming up with the nationally recognized Cellphones for Soldiers program and using his district office at 700 N. Lake St., Suite 101, Mundelein as a drop-off location for donated cellphones. Founded in 2004, Cellphones for Soldiers is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides servicemen and women around the world with an estimated 3 million prepaid calling cards through their Minutes That Matter program. Approximately 3,200 prepaid calling cards are mailed each week. Used mobile phones from all service providers are accepted at drop-off locations. Individuals who wish to donate a cellphone can drop them off at Sullivan's office. For information, call the office at (847) 566-5115 or email Rep. Sullivan at ILhouse51@sbcglobal.net.
