St. Patrick Preschool wins 1st place in Scarecrow Contest, again

St. Patrick Catholic Preschool students and parents are all smiles!

Their entry in the 29th annual Scarecrow Festival in St. Charles won first place in the children's category.

This is the third win for the St. Charles preschool in three years.

Their scarecrow was titled "Follow the Rainbow to Life's Treasures."

It featured a rainbow with each color representing promises that the preschoolers made for this school year and a pot of "gold" at the end of the rainbow filled with words representing life's treasures. The amazing work of art was created by preschool students, teachers and volunteer parents.

The winning scarecrow can now be seen outside the front of the preschool. We just love it when our parents and students work together to create something beautiful!

St. Patrick Catholic Preschool is a fully-accredited, Catholic faith-based preschool open to 2- to 4-year-old children, located at 118 N. Fifth St. in St. Charles. Interested parents may contact Preschool Director Veronica Day at (630) 338-8200.
