Time for career politicians to go

I wholeheartedly concur with your endorsement of Bruce Rauner for governor. It is about time that this state has a proven, successful businessman as governor instead of a politician like Pat Quinn.

I am, however, disappointed that you endorsed Durbin as our U.S. senator. Durbin is also a politician, and he has been in Congress since 1983. It is about time for him to retire. Jim Oberweis, like Rauner, is also a proven, successful businessman. I feel that this state need more business people to represent the voters, and not career politicians.
