Mt. Prospect library friends holding book sale

The Mount Prospect Friends of the Library Autumn Book Sale will be Friday through Sunday, October 17-19, at the Mount Prospect Public Library, 10 S. Emerson St. Revenue from the sales help support various library programs.

The Better Books in meeting room A will have a broad selection of books including excellent art books. The 25-cent sale will be in meeting room B. The Friends book room on the lower parking lot level contains all other hard-bound books, children and paperbacks priced at $1 or 50 cents.

Friday will be a Friends Member Only night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Individual memberships are $5. The free public sale will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. For information, call (847) 253-5675.
