Flu shots for veterans:

The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center is offering free flu vaccinations Saturday, Oct. 18, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Chicago campus, Building 133EF (Immunization Clinic), 3001 Green Bay Road. The walk-in flu shot clinic is available for active duty military dependents, active duty military, military retirees and eligible veterans who missed the first flu shot clinic earlier this month. Additionally, a walk-in flu shot clinic is available for veterans every weekday from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m., at the North Chicago location. Check-in is at the Primary Care desk.
