A Wisconsin man was arrested Monday after police stopped his car on the Tri-State Tollway near Gurnee and found he was wanted on a warrant in that state, Lake County sheriff's police said. Vernell Cauley, 35, of Madison, gave police false ID when he was stopped, according to a news release. Additionally, he was serving as a pimp for two women in the vehicle, police said. Cauley was charged with obstructing justice, promoting prostitution, being a fugitive from justice, possession of cannabis and driving with a suspended license.
