Political forum Oct. 26:

Candidates for Congress, Lake County sheriff, the state House and the county board will appear at a public forum Sunday, Oct. 26 in North Chicago. The event will start at 3 p.m. at the Queen of Peace gymnasium, 910 14th St. Participants will include Democratic U.S. Rep. Brad Schneider of the 10th District and Republican challenger Robert Dold, as well as the candidates running for county and state offices.
