Record night for Antioch's Hernandez

Iven Hernandez enjoyed a historic night Thursday.

His Antioch soccer team enjoyed a victory to boot.

Hernandez's 2 goals helped the Sequoits capture a 7-0 decision over Zion-Benton in a North Suburban Conference crossover. The second goal gave the senior forward a school-record 33 for the season and 100 for his career. He also had an assist.

Antioch (14-7) received other goals from Logan Bouker, Jose Tellez, Taylor Winkler, Mickey West and Krystian Streit. Danny assisted on 3 goals, including Hernandez's pair. Eric Pedersen had an assist as well.

Keepers Alex Ruano and Dan Miller shared the shutout for the Sequoits, who led 4-0 at halftime.
