Challenger dodges the key questions

When it comes to politics, I have always been one to carefully weigh all choices to develop a clear understanding of each candidate's positions on the issues affecting our state and community. This year, I had the unique opportunity to interact with both candidates for state representative of the 59th District and it quickly became crystal clear who was the right choice for our families.

Last week, Leslie Munger came to my door and dodged every question with the grace of a career politician, leaving me with more questions than answers, when it came to the devastating choices she and her Tea Party allies could make to set back advocating for women's rights, protecting services for our seniors and the disabled, and fighting for the working-class.

In comparison, state Rep. Carol Sente personally answered every question I raised, responding with a thoughtful answer that proved she genuinely cared about the challenges facing working-class families.

This year, please join me in supporting Carol Sente, because she is the only candidate who is not afraid to tackle the tough issues and speak from the heart, not talking points.
