Court system needs to respect public

While reading the Sunday papers, an article about a TV show called "Madam Secretary" caught my attention. Tea Leoni, who plays a tough callous woman stated "I'm a daughter of an attorney; I was taught to think through both sides."

It is unfortunate that in Illinois, especially in Cook and Du Page county, that the judges fail to adhere to that policy. Maybe if the court system would respect the fairness of the public, then an atmosphere of respect and fairness of the court system would prevail - maybe!
