Warren Township High School students to perform 'Our Town'
Warren Township High School students will perform Thorton Wilder's classic, "Our Town" on Oct. 8-10 at 7 p.m. in the Almond Black Box Theater.
On Oct. 9 and 10 at 6 p.m., the Warren Drama Boosters are offering dinner catered by Portillos. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the show will start at 7 p.m. in the theater on the Almond Road campus, 34090 Almond Road, Gurnee. Dinner with the show costs $11 for students, including children/seniors, and $16 for adults. The dinner is a fundraiser for the drama program and there will be dessert donations during intermission. Oct. 8 to 10 at 7 p.m., show-only tickets are available for purchase as well. The tickets are $4 for students, including children/seniors, and $6 for adults. This event is general seating, but priority will be given to those who arrive for dinner at 6 p.m. on the Oct. 9 and 10 shows.

For students interested in attending the show with an activity pass, prices are available on the website and the activity pass must be shown at the door.
This Pulitzer Prize winning play is set in the small town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, during the early 1900s. It follows the daily life of the people in the town and focuses on the love story of Emily Webb and George Gibbs.
The play is a time capsule of human life and existence. It deals with life, love, and death. Its message surpasses time and lives on in each of us. It ventures to ask the question, why don't we enjoy life while we live it?
