Barrington theater to host short films festival

Local filmmakers take note - you could have your creation shown at the historic The Catlow movie theater in Barrington at their first short film festival in November.

Theater staff are seeking submissions that are 25 minutes or shorter. Among the categories on the submission list are narrative, documentary, animation, experimental and "other."

Selected films will be screened at the 87-year-old theater in downtown Barrington during the festival on Nov. 22.
