11-year-old Arlington Heights girl missing

The Arlington Heights Police Department is trying to locate a missing 11-year-old girl.
A family member reported Thursday at 12:15 p.m. that Sydney Ayala was missing from her home in Arlington Heights. Ayala has no cellphone or money, and she was last seen Thursday on the 100 block of North Lincoln Lane in Arlington Heights. She was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue capri-style pants.
There are no signs of foul play at this time, according to a news release.
Anyone who has information about Ayala is encouraged to call the Arlington Heights Police Department at (847) 368-5300. Ayala is Hispanic and 5 feet tall. She weighs 100 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
