Arlington Heights Fire Department Open House, October 11

The Arlington Heights Fire Department Open House will be held on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Fire Station One, located at 300 East Sigwalt Street, near Village Hall. Parking is available at the Village Municipal Garage.

The event recognizes Fire Prevention Week, which is October 5-11. "Working Smoke Alarms Save Lives - Test Yours Every Month!" is this year's Fire Prevention campaign. Our goal is to sound the alarm that working smoke alarms save lives. Test yours every month!

The Fire Department Open House will include the Fire Safety Trailer, equipment and informational displays, demonstrations, tours of the fire station, and Sparky the Fire Dog. This is your chance to get a close-up view of the work firefighters do, the equipment they use and the place they stay while on duty protecting the residents of Arlington Heights.
