Dist. 54 candidates Morrison, Singh to appear at forum

The candidates vying for the Illinois House District 54 seat will appear at a forum at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Arlington Heights village hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.

Incumbent Rep. Tom Morrison, a Republican from Palatine, and his challenger Laddi Singh, a Democrat also from Palatine, will answer written questions submitted by the audience at the event, hosted by the Arlington Heights-Mount Prospect-Buffalo Grove chapter of the League of Women Voters.

The forum will be broadcast on local access TV - Comcast channel 17 and WideOpenWest channel 6, according to the release. The event is free to the public.
