Don't blame only the GOP

Barbara Muehlhausen (Your Views, Sept. 10) claims that whatever ails this country is the Republicans' fault, which is far from the truth. Gov. Pat Quinn and the liberal/progressives of this state had created most of the trouble this state is in and especially the country. Good examples are overtaxation and overregulation of our lives and industries, Unions are destroying jobs with their demands - just look at what happen to the Hostess brand and to the jobs sent overseas.

Yes, the GOP has its faults, but let's be realistic on who shares the blame and where the fault actually should go.
