Huntley claims title at Fran Noyes Invite

The Huntley boys golf team won the Fran Noyes Invitational at The Oak Club in Genoa Saturday, scoring a tournament record 128 points in the meet, which is scored by the Stableford scoring system.

Jake Grabner was the individual champion for the Red Raiders with 36 points, while Jake Bowser (30, 8th place), Trent Craig (29, 10th place) and Andrew Mendonca (27, 15th place) also contributed to the victory.

It was the fourth straight year Huntley has won the tournament. The Raiders beat out second place Lake Forest Academy (121) and third place Kaneland (110) for the title in the 23-team event.
