Divita leaving to work in DeKalb

Geneva is losing its economic development director to DeKalb.
Ellen Divita will become that city's community development director starting Nov. 20, according to a news release from the city of DeKalb.
In Geneva, Divita oversaw downtown development, business retention and recruitment, long-range planning, tourism and marketing.
She previously was deputy director of community development in Mount Prospect, and economic development director in St. Charles and Woodstock.
Divita has worked for Geneva since 2007. Her last day with the city has not been determined.
