Resurfacing on Route 137

Resurfacing will begin Monday, weather permitting, on Route 137 (Buckley Road) between Routes 45 and 83 (Ivanhoe Road) in Grayslake. In order to complete the work, motorists can expect daily lane closures with flaggers at various locations once construction begins. The anticipated completion date is Oct. 17. Motorists should expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
