Palatine d. Schaumburg: Palatine junior Zach Michael took first place, leading the Pirates to a 23-38 boys cross country win over Schaumburg on the Saxons' 3.1-mile home course at Hoover Elementary on Thursday.

Wheeling d. Meadows: Rolling Meadows' Colin Pisc-tello had the top performance, but Wheeling's superpack led by Joe Swiech took spots 2 through 9 in a 20-43 victory on the 3-mile course at Patriot Park.
