Democrats buckle on immigration

President Obama has pushed off any attempt to legalize undocumented immigrants until after the November elections. It is an obvious political move. This is after pressure from many Democratic Party leaders and politicians afraid that amnesty or legalization will hurt their chances of re-election.

If they are worried about it, this tells us that the majority of U.S. citizens are against illegal immigration and want to stop it, not condone it. It is just another example of politicians following their party line instead of the will of the people.
