No one injured in fire at five-story Aurora office building
Aurora fire crews battled a blaze at a five-story office building in the city's downtown Sunday morning.
No one was injured in the fire, according to the Aurora Fire Department.
People at a dance studio on the third floor of the building, which is on the 0-100 block of South Stolp Avenue, reported smoke and called 911, authorities said. Fire companies arrived at about 9:40 a.m. and found a fire in the basement of the building, which caused a large volume of smoke to reach up to the third floor, according to the fire department.
A damage estimate to the structure and contents was unknown Sunday, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by The Aurora Fire Department Arson Team.
