Offended by remark about South Side

I live in Elgin and took offense to Chuck Guy's statement that Mr. Flamm should ask himself if he would rather have a cellphone or a .45 gun should his car break down in the South Side.

Mr. Guy obviously has never gone to the South Side. The implication that people will swarm your car in violence should it break down reeks of ignorance. If he wants to stereotype people, why not choose folks who let their children shoot themselves or their instructors in the face with Uzis all in the name of gun loving?
