Body found near pond along I-69 in central Indiana
PENDLETON, Ind. - Police say a man's body found over the weekend near an Interstate 69 interchange in central Indiana might have been there for about two weeks.
Pendleton police Detective Stan Brown says no immediate identification was made of the body. A man fishing with his two sons spotted the body on Saturday near an overgrown pond on private property near the I-69 and Indiana 38 interchange about 20 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
Brown tells The Herald Bulletin (http://bit.ly/1oiqrKZ ) that Pendleton police had no reports of missing people. He says the department has fielded calls about people who've been missing for a year or so.
