Beach Park man accused of reproducing child porn

A Beach Park man has been charged with three counts of reproduction of child pornography, according to the Lake County sheriff's office.
An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for Bernard H. Wewers, 19, of the 10200 Block of West Bairstow Avenue. He was taken into custody at his residence without incident.
A recent investigation by the Lake County sheriff's cybercrimes unit and the Lake County state's attorney's office uncovered numerous child pornography images and videos, authorities said.
Additional charges could be filed after further review of the evidence.
Wewers' bail was set at $300,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 12.
