Calling All Party Animals to Clearbrook's Pet Festival

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (August 26, 2014) - Wag those tails and jump for joy because Clearbrook's first-ever Raise the Roof Pet Festival is coming to Melas Park in Mount Propsect on Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

In the morning, strut your mutt at the 2K Pet Walk where the first 100 human registrants will receive a T-shirt and goody bag as well as a bandana for their four-legged friend. Then, join us at the finish line for activities and fun for the whole family, including pet vendors, demonstrations, the Petco Adoption Zone, and an activity zone featuring an animal friendly photo booth, the Veterinary Specialty Center of Buffalo Grove Puppy Kissing Booth, paw art booth, Dog Bath Station, and a craft for kids.

If competition is more your style, register for one of the many contests brought to you by Subaru to showcase your pet's skills, abilities and good looks. Contests include Best Dressed, Most Obedient, Look-A-Like, Best Trick, and Most Unique Trick.

Event vendors include: Chicagoland Lab Rescue, Dog Play Day Care, Edward Pet Guardian, For Tails Only, Friendly and Feral Cat Rescue, Gelato Italiano, Heartland Animal Shelter, Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus, Loving Care Animal Clinic, Loving Care Animal Hospital, Loving The Pregnant You, March Animal Hospital, Mario's Cart Race for the Taste, Northwest Obedience Club, Inc., Petco, Pet Supplies Plus, Subaru, and Veterinary Specialty Center of Buffalo Grove.

General admission to this one-of-a-kind event is free with a small fee for the pet walk, activity zone, and contest entry.
