Cicero police arrest bank robbery suspect
Cicero police have arrested a 31-year-old man they believe is the "No Boundaries Bandit."
A news release issued Monday said officers arrested Rodrigo Medellin Sunday afternoon following a short car and foot chase. Authorities say the Chicago-area man had a gun in his possession.
The "No Boundaries Bank Bandit" got his nickname for robbing a dozen banks over a wide area around Chicago between May 16 and Aug. 31. The robber's targets included banks in River Forest, Stickney and in several parts of Chicago itself.
Medellin faces multiple counts of armed robbery. The Cicero statement did not include the name of a defense attorney for Medellin.
