Tax appeal seminar scheduled in Des Plaines

Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak will hold a property tax assessment appeal seminar Monday, Sept. 15, at the Des Plaines Public Library.

Patlak will explain the appeal process, and those who attend will be able to work with staff from the board of review to address questions. Taxpayers are asked to bring a copy of their most recent tax bill.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at 1501 Ellinwood St.
