U-46 says goodbye to Torres
It was the official send off Friday for Superintendent Jose Torres, who is leaving Elgin Area School District U-46 to take over at the Illinois Math and Science Academy in Aurora.
Members of the school community waited in line to talk to Torres and send him off with their best.
Well-wishers took "selfies," shared hugs and photos.
