Justin Park was particularly good and so were the sophomore's Vernon Hills golf teammates Wednesday.

At White Deer Run, Park fired a 2-under-par 34 to lead the Cougars to a school-record 146 and nonconference win over Marian Central (172).

Bo Manso added an even-par 36 for Vernon Hills, which carded five sub-40 scores. The Cougars also received a 37 from Brian Favia and 39s from Ricky Schmidt and Tanner Fulton.
