SRACLC hires new recreation specialist

The Special Recreation Association of Central Lake County is an organization that provides recreation programs and services to individuals with special needs and their families.

SRACLC has recently hired Courtney Rutkowski as a new recreation specialist Aug. 4. Courtney graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration, with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation.

Her main responsibilities will include adult and senior program development and coordinating the agency's Active Adult program. Courtney will also plan and lead a variety of SRACLC programs.

In her spare time, she likes to go to concerts and read. Courtney has been working as a seasonal staff with SRACLC for over a year.
