Volunteers sought to share skills:

The Community Action Partnership of Lake County is seeking volunteers for its Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, a "placement service" for people 55 and older to share their experience, skills and talent. Early childhood classroom assistant; tutors/mentors for disadvantaged elementary school students; drivers for escorts and food delivery; and, other opportunities are being sought immediately. Potential volunteers should have customer service and communications skills. Volunteers are screened, interviewed, trained and agree to a background check.
