Library opens indoor book drop earlier during construction

The west entrance of the Schaumburg Township District Library at 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg will be open at 6 a.m. on weekdays during parking lot construction for early access to the indoor book drops.

On weekends, the doors will open at 8 a.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. on Sundays.

The earlier hours will apply only to the hallway in which the indoor book drops are located. The interior doors leading to the lobby will remain closed until the library opens at its regular times.

Parking lot construction began Aug. 12 and is expected to last about three weeks.
