They're happy in the village of good neighbors

In December 2012, my husband and I found ourselves moving from the Delaware shore to an Arlington Heights condo. Serious illness brought us to be near family.

The area couldn't be more convenient for us. We walk to most services we need and enjoy nearby restaurants. Best of all is the friendliness of the people we encounter throughout the day.

With that in mind, I want to publicly recognize our neighbor, Mike, for his thoughtfulness. He rises before we do to walk his pup and on his return drops the morning papers in front of our door. What a nice way to begin the day.
