Two finalists for Lake County judgeship:

Two finalists remain for a Lake County circuit court associate judge position. The vacancy resulted from the recent retirement by Associate Judge Joseph R. Waldeck. In the running are Assistant State's Attorney Janelle K. Christensen of Lindenhurst and Chief Deputy State's Attorney Daniel L. Jasica of Lake Forest. Lake County's elected circuit judges will cast a secret ballot to decide between Christensen and Jasica. The Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts will tabulate the results and provide the winning name to Lake County Chief Judge John Phillips.
