Rollover crash in South Barrington injures woman

An early-morning rollover crash at Algonquin and Barrington roads in South Barrington sent one person to the hospital Tuesday, authorities said.

Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District paramedics took a woman to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates after the one-vehicle crash, Battalion Chief Jeff Tress said. Her condition was not immediately known.

Police shut down the eastbound lane of Palatine Road at Algonquin Road because of the 5:30 a.m. crash.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
