Buffalo Grove-Lincolnshire chamber awards scholarships

The Buffalo Grove Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce recently presented three Ronald J. Jonas Memorial Scholarships. This year's recipients were:

Traditional Scholarships:

Micah Fishman served as an intern with Lake County Commissioner David Stolman. He is graduating from Stevenson High School and plans to attend the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Micah will study Human Development & Family Studies.

Dylan Projansky is a part-time employee at the Buffalo Grove Park District. He is graduating from Stevenson High School and plans to attend Ohio State University where he will major in Zoology.

Non-Traditional Scholarship:

Meredith Baker-Rush is a speech pathologist and is working toward her doctoral degree in health psychology at Walden University. Meredith assists her mother, Vicki Baker, at Gifts of Distinction.

Since 2004, the Ronald J. Jonas Memorial Scholarship Fund of the Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce has awarded over $73,000 in scholarships.
