Palatine library announces new streaming service

Palatine Public Library District is pleased to announce a new streaming video and audio service for library cardholders.

Hoopla digital provides instant mobile and online access to thousands of movies, television shows, music albums, and audiobooks, with new content added regularly.

Patrons can install the free hoopla digital app on their mobile device, smartphone, or computer, and register with their Palatine library card. Once a title is borrowed, it is instantly available via all devices with the hoopla digital app and via your PC web browser. There is no waiting, no fees, no holds, or ads, so patrons can easily access what they want when they want it.

Palatine library cardholders can check out up to five titles a month with these lending periods: Movies and TV shows, three days; music, seven days; and audiobooks, three weeks. At the end of the lending period, the selection is automatically returned. From Hollywood blockbusters, best-selling authors and artists, to educational materials, children's titles and foreign films, there is something for everyone.

For information, visit www.hoopladigital.com or www.palatinelibrary.org/digital-media/hoopla.

For details, bring your device into the Palatine library, along with your library card, or call (847) 358-5881, ext. 180.
