Body found in forest preserve identified as Waukegan woman

A body discovered Wednesday at the Lyons Woods Forest Preserve in Waukegan was identified Thursday as a 52-year-old Waukegan woman.

The cause of death was not released pending the results of toxicology reports, said George Filenko, chief of the Lake County Major Crimes Task Force.

Lake County Forest Preserve District police discovered the body in a wooded area.
