Congress has a short time to do nothing
All the letters I read from writers to Fence Post from those who are constantly berating President Obama should be interested in this tidbit. For the rest of the year (five months) the U.S. House of Representatives has all of 26 days on its calendar. Does anyone really think anything will get accomplished? This is not something new, but the midterm elections in November seem to make re-election more important than addressing anything else. Twenty-six days! Pretty pathetic, isn't it?
