Des Plaines Garden Club takes annual Garden Walk
July 10, with the sun shining, was the perfect day for Des Plaines Garden Club members to visit six gardens on its annual walk.
The club viewed the beautiful gardens of members Roseann Wagner, Joy Bertone, Alice Grygiel and Beatrice Ross. Nonmembers, Frank Schroeter and Craig Zajac also graciously invited the club to view their gardens.
After the walk members gathered at "The Great Escape" Restaurant in Schiller Park for an enjoyable lunch and conversation.
