Hanover Twp, Greater Elgin Family Care Center team on back-to-school fair

Hanover Township and the Greater Elgin Family Care Center will hold a back-to-school fair where students can receive health checkups on July 30.

Township nurses will give free health screenings for diabetes, anemia and blood pressure. The Elgin team will provide immunizations and physicals for kids.

Residents without Medicaid or Blue Cross Blue Shield will be charged $25 for physicals.

While supplies last, families also will receive backpacks.

The fair will run from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Blackhawk Apartments Clubhouse, 926 Congdon Ave., Elgin. For details, call the Hanover Township Office of Community Health at (630) 483-5665.
